The win built on Saturday’s success, as Belstone began the new season with a 2-1 away win over Mill End Sports; Danny Tilbury and Jason Puzey the goalscorers.

Bedmond Sports and Social Club have also begun their season unbeaten, picking up a 3-1 home win against Bushey Sports Club on Tuesday evening.

Three days earlier, Bedmond played out a 1-1 draw with Chipperfield Corinthians; Nathan Gullen was on target for Bedmond and Matt Honey for Chipperfield.

Ian McIntosh and Glen O’Malley scored for Sarratt in an entertaining 2-2 draw at Bushey Sports Club on Saturday. Michael Roche and Gary Burrell got the goals for Bushey.

Bovingdon bounced back from an opening-day loss to beat Mill End Sports 4-2 on Tuesday evening.
