Belstone maintained their 100 per cent start to the new HertsSavers League Premier Division season by winning 2-1 at Sandridge Rovers on Tuesday night.

A brace from Andy Weller did the damage for visiting Belstone, with Sandridge getting their consolation goal through Jack Green.

The win built on Saturday’s success, as Belstone began the new season with a 2-1 away win over Mill End Sports; Danny Tilbury and Jason Puzey the goalscorers.

Bedmond Sports and Social Club have also begun their season unbeaten, picking up a 3-1 home win against Bushey Sports Club on Tuesday evening.

George Hobson netted a brace, with Karl Penney scoring the other. Rob Sterry netted the Bushey goal.

Three days earlier, Bedmond played out a 1-1 draw with Chipperfield Corinthians; Nathan Gullen was on target for Bedmond and Matt Honey for Chipperfield.

Sarratt won 1-0 at home to Chipperfield on Tuesday, with Kojo Agyeman’s goal proving decisive.

Ian McIntosh and Glen O’Malley scored for Sarratt in an entertaining 2-2 draw at Bushey Sports Club on Saturday. Michael Roche and Gary Burrell got the goals for Bushey.

Bovingdon bounced back from an opening-day loss to beat Mill End Sports 4-2 on Tuesday evening.

Ben Davies and Joseph Slade each notched braces, with Mill End hitting back through Karl Swan and Simon Whall.

Saturday’s season-opener had seen Bovingdon beaten 2-0 at home to Sandridge Rovers; James Todd and Ciaran Yapp amongst the goals.
