Gordon Strachan has named a 26-man squad for the match at Borussia Dortmund’s ground and it also includes former Hornet and current Derby full back Craig Forsyth.

Anya has made six outings for Scotland since his debut against Belgium last September and he scored in his first start four days later; the 2-1 win over Macedonia.

The 26-year-old was born in Glasgow to a Nigerian father and Romanian mother and grew up in Scotland before moving to Oxford.

Forwards: Steven Fletcher (Sunderland), Chris Martin (Derby County), Steven Naismith (Everton).

well lets hope he comes back without an injury , everytime he has come back from international duty he seems to have picked up an injury. Maybe lockerbiehornet can look after him ?

All the best, Ikechi. I hope you get better service than you did on Saturday.

Shame we let Craig go. He would fit perfectly into our 3-5-2, to challenge Pudil for a place.

re Ikechi Anya - I was in the corporate section on Saturday and for a period of about half an hour after the game, he was running on the pitch between markers.

Can anyone suggest what that was?

I think Anya is not yet back to his best so am hoping that playing in Internationals helps him get back to his supreme best.

Just a shot at a bit of light hearted humour- as in Lockerbie being in Scotland. Better?
