A goal from Lloyd Dyer means Watford go in at half time of their League Cup second round tie against Doncaster Rovers level with the score at 1-1.
Rovers took the lead in the contest when Kyle Bennett was brought down in the penalty area by Gabriel Tamas and Nathan Tyson smashed home the resultant spot kick.
The Hornets had been lethargic but they awoke after going behind and levelled on the half hour. A neat flick from Odion Igahlo put Dyer through on goal and he smashed past Jed Steer.
