Rotherham United boss Steve Evans says the Millers have had enquires for Watford duo Lewis McGugan and Lloyd Dyer rebuffed by the Hornets this week.
The pair have been left out of the Hornets' starting XI for their last two Championship fixtures, although they both started in Tuesday night’s League Cup defeat to Doncaster Rovers.
Dyer scored against Rotherham in Watford’s 2-0 victory at the New York Stadium last week but celebrated by running across the pitch and angrily shouting at Golden Boys head coach Beppe Sannino.
McGugan has shown displeasure in the past week as he walked straight down the tunnel, and threw his jumper to the ground, after being substituted against Doncaster on Tuesday.
