Troy Deeney was named the official man of the match following ten-man Watford's 4-2 victory over Huddersfield Town at Vicarage Road yesterday, but who was your top Hornets performer?

The captain also makes our shortlist after continuing his superb run of scoring form at home by netting his 12th goal in his last 12 appearances at Vicarage Road during a commanding all-round display in which he again led by example from the front.

Our other three candidates are all midfielders - Almen Abdi, Keith Andrews and Daniel Tozser.

Andrews may have only been on the pitch for just over a half after replacing the injured Gianni Munari, but he crucially netted moments after Gabriel Tamas had been sent off and his experience was key in helping his side successfully get across the finishing line after they had been reduced to ten men for the final 25 minutes.

Abdi has not been operating at full throttle yet this season but he got off the mark for the campaign by putting Watford back in front for a second time, before ending a fine counter-attacking move in injury-time with a sumptuous finish to make sure the hosts made it four wins out of five as they continued their strong start to the campaign.

The player who supplied the final pass for that goal, Tozser, was also involved in many of the Hornets' other attacking positives yesterday, as he displayed his full range of passes. But the Hungarian also rolled up his sleeves as Huddersfield sought to make their man advantage count and try to equalise for a third time.

They are our four candidates, but if you disagree, you can have your say below.
