Troy Deeney was named the official man of the match following ten-man Watford's 4-2 victory over Huddersfield Town at Vicarage Road yesterday, but who was your top Hornets performer?

The captain also makes our shortlist after continuing his superb run of scoring form at home by netting his 12th goal in his last 12 appearances at Vicarage Road during a commanding all-round display in which he again led by example from the front.

Our other three candidates are all midfielders - Almen Abdi, Keith Andrews and Daniel Tozser.

Andrews may have only been on the pitch for just over a half after replacing the injured Gianni Munari, but he crucially netted moments after Gabriel Tamas had been sent off and his experience was key in helping his side successfully get across the finishing line after they had been reduced to ten men for the final 25 minutes.

Abdi has not been operating at full throttle yet this season but he got off the mark for the campaign by putting Watford back in front for a second time, before ending a fine counter-attacking move in injury-time with a sumptuous finish to make sure the hosts made it four wins out of five as they continued their strong start to the campaign.

The player who supplied the final pass for that goal, Tozser, was also involved in many of the Hornets' other attacking positives yesterday, as he displayed his full range of passes. But the Hungarian also rolled up his sleeves as Huddersfield sought to make their man advantage count and try to equalise for a third time.

They are our four candidates, but if you disagree, you can have your say below.

Deeney, excellent all game and like the way he got the fans to applaud Forestieri when he was subbed.

Honourable mention too for Pudil, who made the most of some great service, whereas most of the long passes to Anya never reached him.

Thought Abdi had a great game, scoring two well-taken goals in the process, but I think Gomes deserves to be included in the list.
O.K., he only parried the ball for H'field's opener and I don't think he can be blamed for their second when no-one marked the defender heading home, but I thought he was brilliant overall, particularly after Tamas was sent off when we were really under pressure, making so many saves (nothing spectacular admittedly) and how often do you see a 'keeper getting cramp? - shows how busy he was!

I remember your bitterness Dave Cowling. You come on here every time we beat you, to vent your vitriol. Don't worry mate we won't be playing you next season.

You know you were well beaten in the end, get over it and sort yourselves out as a club. Your not a bad team actually, but you were beaten by a better one who for once had the desire to win. Well done the WFC supporters her were magnificent in lifting the team for the final run in.

Although not MOM as he didn't play the whole game - i thought Andrews was superb. although he lacks mobility his positioning and general understanding of the game is superb. We would have drawn or lost this last year and characters like him will pull us through some tough tight games this year

Although he made a couple of mistakes early on, I thought Gomez played a huge part in keeping us in the game.
We defended well after the sending off, but the defence opened up far too easily before that, with unmarked players shooting on sight.
Not man of the match, but he kept out plenty of on target shots.

My man of the Match was Abdi but most of the Team played Outstanding as did the opposition who made it a very memorable game.
The only one who tried to wreck the game was the Referee and his
Officials with over booking and sadly trying to take the Limelight away
from what was a great game which i have not seen since the 1980s
except for the Leicester game of course
Unfortunately they seem to be getting worse every Game and must be
driving some supporters away from the great game
Hope to see many more games like that this season with wins for the
Hornets. Come on you Hornets
