Oscar Garcia is the first Watford boss to use Twitter and he has wasted no time in posting his first message, and selfie, as Hornets boss.

The 41-year-old was appointed this morning and is currently flying to the UK to meet club officials and the players for the first time as head coach.

Timing is good, getting this sorted early gives the new man a chance to settle in before the next match. hopefully this also means the backroom staff will be settled by then too.

If Andrew's comments reflect the dressing room feelings then that is great. The timing is good given the break. Other than Anya what other players are missing on international duty? Will Oscar bring in his own people or do we stick with the backroom staff that Beppe/Nani pulled in? Got to be possitive though and we will all behind Oscar. At least he is not a stranger to the Chamionship. Will be interesting to see if he does the 3-5-2 combination or something else when settled in. Must be our best chance this eason for an automatic promotion slot.

Quite a few - Vydra, Pudil, Tozser, Hoban, Doyley, Paredes, Cathcart, Tamas, Smith and Murray. Don't think I have missed anyone..... Although Abdi, Ekstrand and Deeney should have call ups!

A good appointment , can't wait to see how he preforms. With his cup of talent over-flowing in this squad ,it will be interesting to see if he has a rotation mentality or just plays the strongest team. If he goes for the latter how will he keep all the players happy. Lots of questions cant' wait to see the answers.
This is our year I can feel it in my gut. Right owners ,right coach, squad brimming with talent ,guts determination , experience. If we cant' do it now with this team that the Pozzos' have assembled then I am a monkeys uncle.
If we fail I will run naked around the Vic with only a Luton scarf, around my neck. On each butt cheek a picture of the Luton Chairman and manager then the fans (supplied with a dart each) the first to hit chairman or manager on the nose wins . The lucky fan gets to hang me by the scarf from the flood lights .
I don't know what is more revolting me naked or the Luton scarf and pictures. I am sure we are on the way to the Prem , so the good people of Vicarage Road will be spared such a hideous spectacle . COYH
