Matej Vydra and Daniel Tozser were on the scoresheet. Gianni Munari put in a composed display. And, if it wasn’t for the saves of Heurelho Gomes, Watford would’ve been beaten by Blackburn Rovers. But who was your Hornets man-of-the-match in the 2-2 draw at Ewood Park?

The hosts had a total of 28 shots, eight of which were on target. Gomes was busy throughout the match but his handling was solid and he produced several important stops to ensure the Golden Boys claimed a point.

Vydra netted his third goal of the campaign and it was a classy finish from the Czech Republic international after he was put though on goal by Craig Cathcart.

Tozser’s free kick was excellently placed. He curled his effort away from the wall and the ball clipped the post on its way in. The midfielder’s passing was also excellent throughout.

Munari worked hard and his endeavour in midfield and intelligent positioning helped Watford open up their two-goal lead at half time. However, he faded during the second period.
