Garston Ladies 96 went goal-mad against AFC Kempston Girls and Ladies, winning 13-4 on Sunday.

Rachel Rabin scored four, Lauren Berryman notched a hat trick, Yasmine Walford and Natalie Powell struck twice each with Ciara Mackintosh and Cassandra Chase both netting. The win saw Garston Ladies 96 FC move to the top of the table having won their opening three games.

The Under-16 Sharks were beaten 6-4 at Leighton United Vixens. In an end-to-end game, Lilly Clark hit a hat-trick and Leanne Hunt also chipped in as Garston came up short.

It was a Saturday full of League Cup action for the junior Garston Ladies teams. The Under-15s were beaten 5-0 by Tottenham Ladies.

The Under-14s were beaten at Evergreen 2-0, whilst there were 7-0 wins for the Under-13 Mets and Under-13 Diamonds against Kings Langley and Hoddesdon Owl Barns respectively.

Raaya Thanki scored twice for the Mets with goals from Megan Allaway, Catriona Condon, Libby Poster, Abby Reith and Hannah Coote.

Amira Quraishy built on her impressive goal-scoring debut for the Under-13 Diamonds with a hat trick, Lana Barnes netted twice, with Cheiyenne Owoo and Georgia Sargent completing the scoring.

The Under-12 Mets were 3-1 winners against Ruislip Rangers, with Nicole Zermani and Sharday Constable both bagging. Georgia Rosenberg’s goal for the Under-12 Diamonds proved in vain as they lost 3-1 against Comet Sports.
