Watford Under-18s suffered a 1-0 defeat against Peterborough United in the Youth Alliance South East Division on Tuesday.
The Hornets missed several chances throughout the contest and were punished by a first half strike from Leonardo Da-Silva-Lopes.
Nathan Gartside in the Watford goal produced several important saves while Dennon Lewis, Alfie Young and Ogo Obi had opportunities to level the contest for the Golden Boys but weren’t able to find the net.
The Hornets have a swift opportunity to rectify the defeat when they travel to face Posh on Saturday.
