Football fans with a WD postcode have the chance to watch Wealdstone for half price for one of their matches in December - an offer which coincides with Watford FC not having a fixture that day.

With the Hornets taking on Fulham on the Friday, Conference South side Wealdstone are hoping to entice fans from across Hertfordshire to their game on Saturday, December 6.

Golden Boys midfielder Luke O'Nien is currently impressing on loan at the Stones, who have former Hornet Jonathan North as their goalkeeper.

And there is an additional Watford FC link because Wealdstone's opponents that day, Staines Town, are managed by Marcus Gayle, who is a former player of the year for the Championship club.

Kick-off at Grosvenor Vale, which is in Ruislip, is 3pm. Those who present proof they live in the WD area, for example via a utility bill, are able to watch the match for half price, with adult tickets on the day £6, concessions £3.50 and under-16s £2.

Season ticket holders at all professional clubs are already able to secure half-price admission to Stones' matches.
