Garston Ladies 96 moved to the top of the Beds & Herts Girls and Women’s League Division Three table after a convincing 8-1 win at Kings Langley Ladies.
The result extended Garston’s winning start to the campaign to four matches. Natalie Powell, Lauren Berryman and Ciara Mackintosh struck for the visitors in a productive first half.
Garston continued to add to their tally in the second period. Powell and Berryman went on to complete hat-tricks while the scoring was completed by Ella Cowderoy.
Kings’ reply came in the 76th minute from Nicole Barrett.
Garston Ladies took on Flitwick Ladies on Sunday and drew 0-0 while the Under-16s defeated Flitwick Eagles 7-2.
Jade Roberts netted four times, with the other goals coming from Lilly Clarke, Leah Crocket and Leanne Hunt.
Emily Downey struck for the Under-14s as they defeated Kinja Thunder 1-0 while the Under-12 Mets drew 1-1 with Harvesters Blue. Hollie Crotty struck the Garston equaliser.
The Under-12 Diamonds drew 1-1 with Bury Rangers thanks to a goal from Yasmin-Rose Sheth.
Darci Harewood netted twice and Jeneice Benjamin was on target for the Under-11 Mets while Elsie Lever (2) and Lily-May Webster netted for the Under-11 Diamonds.
Jessica Dyson grabbed a hat-trick and Evelyn Wilson scored for the Under-10 Mets while Madi Broch (2) and Amber Hine were on the scoresheet as the Under-10 Sharks faced their Diamond counterparts.
The Under-8 Mets were in fine form, with Gabriella Spillman, Hana Cunnane and Cleo Foroughhi all scoring.
