Watford Ladies' development coach Craig Taylor believes the side are making steady progress this season.

A promising month for the team has seen them climb up to fourth in the FA WSL Development League after victories over London Bees and Millwall Lionesses.

Taylor told the club website: “The performances in recent weeks have been encouraging.

“It is not that the players have been doing anything different to what they were in the earlier part of the season, more so that the focus has been on learning how to be more consistent by trying to reduce the number of individual errors that were being made.”

Watford Under-17s progressed to the next round of the League Cup with a narrow 2-1 win over Bury Rangers Whites thanks to a Carly Gilbey brace.
