Fullerians marked their first game at Saracens’ Allianz Park with a bonus-point win to move up to second in London North West 3.

The ground is used by a host of local clubs on an infrequent basis and Fullers’ first team marked their debut outing there in style.

Fullerians ran in five tries without conceding a single point on Saturday to beat a tenacious Old Streetonians 31-0.

Head coach Rich Hoskins said: “It was a great day out and wonderful for the guys to play at Allianz Park.

“Old Streetonians played well at times but our defence held firm. We put some good phases together and scored a lovely team try when Liam Mann scored in the corner.

“We are up to second in the table and there is so much to play for in this exciting league.”

Outside centre Dan Evans was the first to capitalise on Fullers’ early dominance when he powered over to score under the posts.

The contest may have ended up being closer if Old Streetonians hadn’t knocked on close to the try line with the score 7-0.

But instead Fullers goal kicker Craig Duncan added more points to his tally when he crashed over following a well-worked move.

The extras increased Duncan’s points total to nine and meant his side went into the break 14-0 ahead.

The result was never in doubt once one of Old Streets’ second rows was dismissed for a second yellow card.

Evans grabbed his second try of the game and moments later a lovely first-phase move saw wing Mann use his power and pace for the fourth, bonus-point score.

The icing on the cake was provided by number eight George Harvey as he gathered at the base of the scrum to score from five metres out.
