A 2-0 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers propelled Norwich City back into the play-off positions for the first time since November, courtesy of goals from Bradley Johnson and Lewis Grabban.

The Canaries, who take their play-off place at the expense of Brentford, currently find themselves on a run of three consecutive wins, with the defeat of Wolves adding to victories against Blackpool and Charlton Athletic.

Since the new year, Norwich have won five of their seven Championship games, including an impressive away victory against second-placed Bournemouth.

When Watford met Norwich at Carrow Road in the second game of the season, the recently-relegated side ran out comfortable 3-0 winners; a result helped by a red card issued to Joel Ekstrand in the second minute.

The victory was then-manager Neil Adams’ first victory in charge of the club – a feat he repeated ten more times in all competitions (from 25 games) before being resigning after a 2-0 loss to Preston North End in the FA Cup.

Replacing him in the dugout was former Hamilton Academical player-manager Alex Neil on a one-year rolling contract.

Neil, who is the youngest manager in the league at 33, has lost just once in his time at the club, a 2-1 home defeat to Brentford, and has secured 16 points from a possible 21 since taking over.

Norwich have managed to win seven of their 15 games played on the road this season, averaging 1.6 points per game away from Carrow Road; compared to 1.8 in front of their home fans.

The Canaries have garnered ten points from their last six away games; failing to score just once in that time (in a 0-0 draw against Birmingham City). Of their nine Championship clean sheets, five have come away from home; one more than was managed last season.

Leading the club’s scoring charts is Cameron Jerome, who boasts 14 league goals (15 in all competitions) from 21 starts. Jerome, who has managed more than tenleague goals in a season for the first time since 2009/10, joined the club in the summer from Stoke City for an undisclosed fee.

Trailing Jerome in the club's scoring charts are fellow strikers Gary Hooper and Lewis Grabban; both of whom have nine goals.

In team news, new loan signing Graham Dorrans could be set to make his Norwich debut after joining from West Bromwich Albion until late March. Vadis Odjidja-Ofoe may be able to play some part after recovering from a knee injury, but Elliot Bennett and Ryan Bennett (no relation) are both doubtful with hamstring problems.

Norwich City starting XI vs Wolverhampton Wanderers (14/2/15): Ruddy; Whittaker, Martin, Bassong, Olsson; Redmond, Tettey, Johnson, Howson; Hooper, Grabban.
