Watford Ladies defender Ellie Butterwick has been included in the Northern Ireland squad for the Istria Cup next month.
The left-back, 20, made her senior debut for Northern Ireland against Scotland in January and previously won 16 caps at Under-19 level.
Northern Ireland will face Poland, Romania and hosts Croatia in the four-team tournament, which runs from March 4 to 9.
Butterwick has previously represented the Under-19s at the European Championships Elite Stage and was named Northern Ireland’s player of the tournament.
The Green and White Army begin their campaign against Poland before facing Romania and then Croatia.
Her international involvement means Butterwick will miss Watford Ladies’ FA Cup fourth round tie with Keynsham Town on March 8.
The Lady Hornets are hosting Chelsea Ladies in their final pre-season friendly this tomorrow evening (Friday) at Berkhamsted FC (kick-off 7.45pm).
Turnstiles open at 6.45pm with admission priced at £4 for adults and £2 concessions.
