Watford Ladies Elite Under-15 Hornets thrashed rivals Luton Town 6-1 to reach the semi-finals of the League Cup, recording their 31st consecutive victory in the process.

The Lady Hornets' winning streak stretches all the way back to November 2013. Watford raced into a three-goal lead by half-time thanks to strikes from Holly Newell, Rebecca Evans and Danielle Maloney.

And that domination continued after the break as further efforts from Rebecca McShane, Liv Syson and Newell completed the route.

The Hatters did snatch a late consolation but it meant nothing in the grand scheme of things.

Watford Ladies Under-17 Wasps were unable to close the gap on third place, losing 4-2 to Enfield Town.

Kelly Asojo and Carly Gilbey both hit the back of the net for Watford, who were unable to nullify the threat of the Towners.

The Under-12s were unable to record their first win of the season, losing 6-1 to Harpenden Colts.

Watford were made to pay for poor off-the-ball positioning and their failure to utilise the offside trap effectively. Charlie Clark notched their consolation.

There were braces from Charlotte Barton and Emily Rollinger for the Under-11 Harts in a strong showing against Berkhamsted.
