Radlett's Charlie Boldison won double backstroke gold at the British University Championships in Sheffield at the weekend.
The 22-year-old, who attends Hertfordshire University, won gold in the 100m and 200m events at the BUCS Championships at Ponds Forge International Sports Centre.
A time of 55.49 was enough for Boldison, who is reading business studies, to seal victory in the 100m event. A time of 2.01.04 saw Boldison triumph in the 200m.
Boldison, who is a former Queens’ School pupil, is the current ASA British champion for 200m backstroke and currently trains with the elite swimming squad at Stirling University.
