Pictured is the banner Watford fans held up as a show of support to Nic Cruwys prior to today’s game at Vicarage Road.
Hornets fan Cruwys, 44, remains in a critical condition at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham after he was attacked as he walked back to a train station in Wolverhampton following last weekend’s match with Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Watford fan group The 1881 organised the banner and it was displayed before the kick-off with Reading.
It read: 'Best wishes Nic 'Moo'. We are all thinking of you...From your Watford FC family.'
Supporters also plan to release yellow balloons on the 44th minute in support of Cruwys – in reference to the father-of-two’s age.
Cruwys’ family are in attendance at Vicarage Road and so is Wolves fan Ollie Floyd, who like Cruwys is from Hemel Hempstead. Ollie set up a fund for Nic and it has raised more than £30,000 in less than a week.
