THE magic is back with the latest film of JK Rowling's epic stories - Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.

The fifth movie in the series was launched in London with established stars Rupert Grint, Emma Watson and Daniel Radcliffe taking centre stage before the photographers.

But Motherwell teenager Katie Leung was enjoying her first experience of stardom after playing Harry's love interest in the film.

Producers also announced that they are looking for another two unknowns to follow in Katie's footsteps to star in the next film.

They need youngsters to play the parts of Ron Weasley's girlfriend Lavender Brown and a young Tom Riddle, who goes on to become the evil Voldemort.

Katie, 19, who plays fellow Hogwart's pupil Cho Chang, shared a 30-second kiss with the star.

She said: "He was great. I'm sure everyone wants to know if he was a good kisser - he definitely was."

Thousands of hopefuls are expected to turn up for the casting calls for the new parts, after 15,000 auditioned for the role of eccentric Hogwarts pupil Luna Lovegood last year.

That part went to 14-year-old Evanna Lynch, a schoolgirl from Co Louth, Ireland.

Director David Yates said: "These new auditions are open to everybody and we can't wait to see who comes in the door.

"Normally I have all these casting agents sending me kids who have been to stage school and who come in tap-dancing and singing.

"What we are looking for is someone natural and credible in their own right."

Applicants for both roles must be aged 15 to 18 and no acting experience is necessary.
