THE Scottish Premier League have enraged their SFL counterparts by switching Celtic's likely title coronation date, which will now clash with the CIS Cup final.
The Parkhead club's meeting with Falkirk has been moved back to Sunday, March 18, so it can be screened live by Setanta.
But SFL officials are believed to be livid as that is the day Kilmarnock will take on Hibs at Hampden in the League Cup final.
The SPL have scheduled the game at Westfield to kick-off at 1pm so the match doesn't clash with the 3pm kick-off at Hampden Park.
This is the latest in a series of run-ins between the two governing bodies.
Last season, SFL officials were unhappy a Rangers match against Hearts - a game with huge ramifications for the second Champions League qualifying spot - was moved to the same day as the CIS Cup final.
SFL secretary Peter Donald wrote to his Premier counterparts in an attempt to avoid the same scenario in the future. He said: "It is our perception that the major match of the day should stand in isolation.
"It would be helpful to the sponsors of the tournament. We should have a look at it."
Celtic will retain the Scottish title at Falkirk if they win all four of their games leading up to it. AC Milan keeper Dida is likely to be sidelined for at least a month with a shoulder injury, only two weeks after returning from a two-month layoff due to a knee problem.
Newly signed shotstopper Marco Storari is expected to make his Milan debut against Ascoli on Sunday.
Milan meet Celtic in a Champions League first-leg tie at Parkhead a fortnight next Tuesday.
