FORGET In Bed With Madonna, this weekend there is the chance to get In Bed with a Mogul'.

A new event for young entrepreneurs kicks off at the SECC on Saturday - and it is offering the chance to get up close with inspiring Scottish business leaders.

The Prince's Scottish Youth Business Trust and Shell Livewire have joined forces to create the 18-30 Enterprise Show, a business expo for young people.

The venue will be turned into a Manhattan loft apartment and at the centre of it all will be a circular bed featuring different local young entrepreneurs throughout the day.

Delegates will be invited to "get into bed with an entrepreneur" and ask them questions on how they set up their own business.

Business tycoons making an appearance at the event include curry king Charan Gill, Ultimo Bra boss Michelle Mone and PR Gordon Beattie, of Beattie Communications.

Mark Strudwick, chief executive of the PSYBT, said: "There are loads of really interesting events throughout the day.

"This is the place to be for anyone who dreams of being their own boss."

The day kicks off at 9am with tea, coffee and breakfast rolls, followed by an inspirational wake-up call from young motivational trainers, entitled Tree of Knowledge.

Throughout the day delegates can attend a series of break-out workshops, run by successful young Scots entrepreneurs, on numerous subjects such as how to sell, raise finance and marketing.

A lunch-time panel session compared by comedian Fred MacAulay will feature former PSYBT winners, including Glasgow girls Louise Carruthers and Paula Russell, the owners of guitar production and repair business Strung Out Guitars, and Kilsyth's Paul Conway who has his own chain of butcher shops.

Charan Gill, who bought into his first restaurant at the age of 30, is hoping to be inspired as well as an inspiration at Saturday's event.

He said: "Events like this are a great opportunity for young people and if I can help someone with advice or just give them the confidence to go into business then I feel it is time well spent." The show is from 8.45am to 3pm on Saturday. For more details, log on to the website below
