Penfold Park FootGolf course are believed to have made history in the sport after facing the Luton-based Tea Green course in the first inter-course fixture.

In a continuation of the rivalry between Watford FC and Luton Town FC, Penfold Park put out a 17-strong squad, including three players who finished in the top 15 of the 2014 UK FootGolf Association rankings, to host Tea Green.

This match was played over 18 holes, with the front nine played in a foursomes format while the back nine were played in a fourball format.

After the first nine holes, Tea Green FootGolf held a slender lead of 5½-3½ and they built on that advantage in the back nine to take a 10-8 victory.
