Watford defender Juanfran, who has yet to make an appearance for the Hornets, has joined Deportivo La Coruna on a season-long loan.
The 26-year-old was signed by the Golden Boys last summer from Betis for around £1.5 million but was immediately loaned to Deportivo.
He went on to make 34 appearances in La Liga for the Blue and Whites, who successfully battled relegation and finished 16th in the table.
The Watford Observer asked the Hornets almost six weeks ago if Juanfran would link up with the Golden Boys for pre-season training but the club were unable to answer.
The right-back did not arrive at London Colney when the Watford players returned for training on June 29 and he has remained away from the club throughout the summer.
And it was confirmed this morning that Juanfran would spend another season away from Vicarage Road with Deportivo announcing the Spaniard has joined them for a second loan spell.
