Watford Ladies Under-14 Harts eased to a 5-0 Hertfordshire Challenge Cup victory at Kings Langley.

The current holders of the Under-13 trophy won comfortably with a brace from Jemimah Rose and further goals from Amy Ryan, Neve Mayes and player of the match Molly Thomas Conlon.

The Under-14 Hornets found the net a dozen times as they recorded an emphatic 12-0 win against Hoddesdon Owls in the Challenge Cup.

Player of the match Rubie Smith and Charlotte Bailey both scored hat-tricks while Ciara Purdue and Sasha Williams fired home a brace each. Charli O’Connor and Lola Forsyth also scored in an impressive team display.

The Under-16 Wasps lost 3-2 in the Challenge Cup to Hitchin Belles.

Jenny Hughes and Sophie Citro netted for the Wasps but it was the Belles who progressed to the next round.

In the Capital Girls’ League, the Under-16 Hornets won 7-0 at AFC Leyton.

A convincing all-round team performance saw Rebecca Evans score a brace with singles from Danielle Maloney, Linda Afuakwah, Angel Frost, Julia Draper and Alisha Brayer.

Watford Under-12 Hornets drew 6-6 with Charlton Athletic Red.

Trailing 4-2 at the break, the Hornets came back strongly to earn a deserved point. Player of the match Catherine Reeves grabbed a brace, as did T’yana Nee-Chambers while other goals came from Casey Evans and Kayra Karakus.

In the Hertfordshire Girls Partnership League, the Under-18 Wasps lost for the first time this season in a 6-0 defeat to Kinja.

The Under-12 Harts lost 6-0 to Garston Ladies Leopards.

Goals from Kerry Newman (2) and Sian Fisken gave the Under-19 team a 3-2 win over Colne Valley.
