Eric Hand WSFL Challenge Cup Round One

Third Division Bell Rangers pulled off a shock by overcoming Division One’s North Watford 4-3.

Braces from Harrison Harrison and Kane Waterford did the damage for Bell Rangers with Shoaib Ali, Daniel Moss and Tommy Twelves on target for Watford.

There was a more comfortable passage into round two for another Division One side as West Watford crushed Woodlands Laurels 10-2.

Aamer Khan (3), Bilal Akram (2), Steven Harper (2), Ameer Hussain, Akeel Ahmed and Basit Hameed all netted for Watford. Chrishnan Casey and Simon Makin replied in vain for Woodlands Laurels.

WSFL Intermediate Cup Round One

There were no shocks in the Intermediate Cup, though, where Division One side Oxhey Lions won 4-1 against Rifle Volunteer Reserves.

A brace from Wayne Gladdy was added to by Liam Hanley and Steve King. Ben Campbell got Rifle’s goal.

South Oxhey Labour Club advanced with a crushing 5-1 win over Cassiobury Rangers.

Victory was secured thanks to goals from Will Wilson (2), Aaron Davis, Andy Avis and Shaun Marshall. Joe Mortimer netted Rangers' consolation.

WSFL Junior Cup Round One

Penalties were required to separate two of the league's new clubs as Tudor Vets overcame Bushey Rangers 3-2 following a 3-3 draw after extra-time.

Goals from Rangers Lewis Smith, James Henney and Scott Cain were matched by one from Dave Herbert and two from Gary Wicks but were to no avail as Tudor Vets went through in the shoot-out.

Fox and Hounds, currently top of Division Four, were 3-1 winners over divisional rivals Ardent FC.

Goals from Richie Stone, Michael Edwards and Jude Bell cancelled out Lee Spence's reply for the visitors.

Railway Arms stormed to victory, scoring six times in each half to batter Garston Rangers 12-0.

Michael Latham scored a hat-trick whilst Derek Hatcher (2), Mohamad Elsaadaway, Craig Berger, Dave Brunette, Adam Williams, Daniel Williams, Shane Perrin and an own goal wrapped up the win.

Division Three’s Green Dragon Reserves edged out Chess United 4-3 in a thriller.

A brace from Dragon's Ryan Carter was added to by Alfie Palmer and Scott Bain.

WSFL Junior Cup Round Two

Bushey Sports Club's league form was reflected in their 3-2 win over fellow new side Ripstone FC.

Harry Healey (2) and a goal from Tom O'Malley were enough to see Bushey into the hat for round three.

Premier Division

Second-placed Oakview kept the pressure on league leaders St Josephs with a 2-0 win at struggling Hammer.

A pair of second-half goals from Tom Kennedy made sure of the points for Oakview.

Green Dragon enjoyed their first league win and, in the process, piled on the misery for bottom side Oxhey Estates with a 5-3 victory.

Despite an impressive hat-trick from Luke Lloyd for Oxhey was overshadowed by goals from Luke O'Malley (2), Nathan Singh (2) and James Blackwell for Dragon.

Vision United also recorded their first league win of the season with a 5-1 victory away to Rickmansworth Rovers.

Hadleigh de Vall’s goal for the hosts provided some consolation following efforts from Vision’s Joel Norris and two each from Zach Wallace and Cain Davey.

St Josephs maintained their unbeaten record and retained top spot with a 4-2 victory over Reed Rangers.

The points were sealed thanks to a brace from Sam Clark and one each from Sean Sonner and Jack Read. George Hobson and Karl Penny replied with goals for the visitors.

Division One

Top-of-the-table Old Fullerians made light work of beating bottom side Met Police (Bushey) 3-0.

Steve Pich (2) and Sam Parker both found the back of the net.

Draw specialists Chorleywood Club were held to a 1-1 stalemate by Croxley FC.

Goals from Ryan Mahon and Carl Peat respectively made sure of another tie.

Mid-table Gadeside Rangers and AFC Oddfellows drew 2-2.

A brace from Gadeside's Adam Hills was not enough for all three points as Lamar St Cyr and an own goal saw the spoils shared.

Division Two

Colne Valley have risen to the summit following a 4-2 win over bottom side Rickmansworth Athletic.

Tied at 2-2 at half-time, Valley struck twice in the second period to ensure maximum points.

Goals from Valley’s Max Harris, Gary Mumford and Tom Seamons (2) rendered a Michael Craggs goal and an own goal consolations at best.

Previously unbeaten Langleybury Cricket Club were turned over 7-1 by West Herts but cling onto second.

Dave Stewart (3), Ashley Bridwell, Jeremey Audic, Kayon Howells and Lewis Reid all notched with Richard Trafford the Langleybury scorer.

RD FC eased past Croxley FC Reserves with goals from Sam Ryder, Hugh Trayte and Jake Levy bettering Jason Quilley's strike.

Division Three

Evergreen picked up their first win of the season by brushing aside Woodlands United 8-0 with four-goal hauls for both Kyle Rimmer and Anthony Benvenga.

A Michael Miller brace saw Hertsmere (Sunday) to a 2-1 win over The Swan with Kris Shpati ensuring a nervy finish.

Cassiobury Revolution clinched their first point of the season by drawing 1-1 with Sun Postal Sports.

Paul Sherlock cancelled out Sam Hakner’s goal for Sun.

Division Four

Bottom side AC Little Silhouette of Milan were downed 4-0 by The Compasses.

Steven Henderson and Harry Hedges got two apiece.
