Odion Ighalo says he doesn’t expect to leave Watford this month but admits a move to boyhood club Manchester United would be hard to turn down.
The Nigerian has taken to the Premier League with ease, hitting 14 goals in just 20 appearances.
Inevitably there will be speculation linking the former Granada and Udinese striker with a move away from Vicarage Road during the January transfer window.
But the 26-year-old says his future lies with Watford for the time being.
He told The Sun: "There has been speculation from Spain and Italy but I've played there and now want to play in England.
"I don't think I will be moving but I'm not sure I'd say no if United called.
"They were my team growing up. I loved watching Andy Cole and Dwight Yorke on TV.
"They were my idols and playing at Old Trafford has always been a dream."
