The Watford Observer understands the Hornets are not actively pursuing a deal for Liverpool’s young striker Jerome Sinclair.
Reports in the national media have stated Watford are confident of bringing the 19-year-old, whose contract expires in the summer, to Vicarage Road on a cut-price deal this month.
However, we’ve been told this is not the case and that the Hornets are not close to signing in the teenager who scored in the Reds’ FA Cup draw with Exeter City on Friday.
