Watford are being strongly linked with a move for Belgian defender Christian Kabasele.

Reports in the Belgian media claim a deal in the region of €10 million has been agreed for the Racing Genk player and that he will sign a five-year-deal at Vicarage Road after the European Championships.

The 25-year-old centre-half is a former Belgian Under-19 and Under-20 international, but he has yet to make his senior international debut and has been an unused substitute in all four of his country’s games at Euro 2016 to date.

Born in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Kabasele made 41 appearances for Genk last season, scoring four goals.
