Gabriele Angella has left Watford to return to his native Italy to rejoin fellow Pozzo-owned club Udinese.
The 27-year-old's departure on a permanent basis is not a surprise after he spent last season on loan at Queens Park Rangers and his move back to the Serie A club comes after Watford signed Belgian defender Christian Kabasale.
The former Empoli and Siena player moved to Vicarage Road in the summer of 2013 and became a regular in the Hornets team that was to achieve promotion to the Premier League in 2014/15.
A stylish player who was a threat in the opposition area at set pieces, Angella scored ten goals for the Golden Boys in 82 appearances in all competitions.
The best was this backheeled volley at Nottingham Forest which was voted the club's Goal of the Season in 2014.
