Watford have announced teenage prospect Adalberto Peñaranda will spend the season on loan at Udinese.
Peñaranda, 19, signed permanent terms at Vicarage Road on February 1 but remained on loan at Granada, where he had spent the rest of the season.
The Hornets have now decided to loan him to Udinese – also owned by the Pozzo family – citing a desire for him to achieve first-team football this season.
Udinese were, officially, Peñaranda's first club in Europe when they signed him from his native Venezuela in June last year, but he was immediately loaned to Granada and did not make an appearance for the club before he joined Watford eight months later.
He became the youngest non-Spanish player in La Liga history to score a brace during his spell with Granada, beating a record once held by Lionel Messi.
