In-demand Hal Robson-Kanu will not be joining Watford this summer, after the club confirmed they have no interest in signing the Wales striker.
Watford were one of a number of clubs to have been linked with the 27-year-old, who is available on a free transfer, but the Hornerts have told the Watford Observer they are not looking to add him to their forward line this summer.
His stock has risen sharply after a stellar showing at the European Championships with his country, scoring against Slovakia and Belgium as the Welsh made a historic march to the semi-finals in France.
He was released by former club Reading after choosing to run down his contract at the Madjeski Stadium, and has since been linked with moves to Vicarage Road, Hull, and a £100,000-a-week deal with Chinese club Beijing Guoan.
