Watford midfielder Ikechi Anya has been selected in Scotland's squad for the World Cup qualifier against Malta next month.
Anya is in Gordon Strachan's squad for the match in Malta on Sunday, September 4.
He has 20 international caps and scored three goals for Scotland, with his last appearance coming in their friendly defeat to France in June.
The 28-year-old was used as a right wing-back during pre-season by Watford head coach Walter Mazzarri.
But he has been restricted to a substitute appearance in the last ten minutes of the Hornets' 1-1 draw at Southampton this season.
