Watford legends Lloyd Doyley and Nigel Gibbs will be special guests on stage at the launch of Tales from the Vicarage volume five in November.

Clarke Carlisle and Tony Coton will also feature at the evening hosted by Adam Leventhal at Watford Palace Theatre on Sunday, November 13.

The event is the launch of the fifth volume of Tales from the Vicarage, a collection of writing from broadcasters, journalists and former players and managers of Watford, edited by Lionel Birnie.

The book features chapters on Doyley, Carlisle, Watford's current head coach Walter Mazzarri and another Italian who was formerly at the helm, Beppe Sannino.

The man who scored the first goal of the Pozzo era, Chris Iwelumo, also features in the book among other contributors. The new book is included with each ticket priced between £20-£35.

Sky Sports presenter and Watford fan Leventhal said: "We're delighted to be back at the Palace for our fourth live event and we've brought together another line-up that I am really excited about.

"Lloyd hasn't really had a chance to say goodbye properly to the Watford fans and he gets to do that in print in the new book but on November 13 it will be a chance to do it in person to the fans who get tickets.

"I spoke to Clarke for the new book and I'm so happy that he will be there on the night.

"Clearly he has had some desperately low moments in his life, but he's now trying to rediscover some places from his past and I'm sure coming back to Watford and being amongst fans who really appreciated his time at Vicarage Road will be a great experience for all involved."

Gibbs will be another hugely popular guest at the evening with the former defender spending his entire playing career at Vicarage Road.

Leventhal said: "A one club man, a legend and one of the nicest men involved in the game.

"It's about time he was centre stage to regale some of his tales from nineteen years at the club."

Former goalkeeper Coton will also return to Watford for the event at the Palace Theatre.

"I used to have posters of Tony Coton on my wall as a kid, so I can't wait to spend some time with him on stage on November 13," Leventhal said.

"I'll let you into a little secret too, it's my birthday that day - so being with all these great names is arguably one of the greatest parties I think I could ever wish for."
