Miles Shinkwin will fight for the light-heavyweight English title against Joel McIntyre on Saturday, December 10.
The bout, which takes place in McIntyre’s hometown of Portsmouth, will decide who takes the vacant BBBofC belt.
The Bushey fighter had been due to face Tom Baker for the title before the former champion decided to pull out.
Shinkwin will fancy his chances of coming out on top against 28-year-old McIntyre, having won a points decision when the pair last met in 2014.
That represents the sole loss of McIntyre’s career and he arrives at the fight with a record of 14-1.
Shinkwin, meanwhile, enjoys a record of 13-1 after losing a British title fight to Hosea Burton in February.
