Reported Watford target Pontus Jansson has attracted the interest of Premier League clubs, his agent has confirmed to the Watford Observer, before refusing to be drawn on specific interest.

Jansson has proven a hit since a loan move from Torino to Leeds at the start of the season, and scored his first goal for the Whites in their 3-2 win at Norwich on Saturday.

The Sweden international's form has reportedly alerted the interest of Watford, according to reports in his home country, although Leeds do have a clause to turn his move permanent if they wish to do so.

Jansson's agent is former Premier League striker Martin Dahlin, who confirmed top-flight clubs had shown an interest in his signature.

He told the Observer: "Pontus has done a brilliant job since he has come to Leeds and if you do that, of course there will be interest from the Premier League.

"There has been interest in him, but I don't want to comment on specific clubs."
