Watford Ladies Under-17 Hornets progressed into the quarter-final of the Herts Women’s Cup following a seven-goal thriller against Hemel Hempstead Town Ladies.
Two goals from Anaise Harney and one each from Linda Afuakwah and Chloe Fletcher saw the Hornets edge through 4-3.
In the Capital Girls League, the Under-13 Hornets enjoyed a 6-0 away victory over Alexandra Park Youth.
Aluona Xhema netted a brace and Kayra Karkus, T’yana Nee-Chambers, Jessica Cripps and Neave Wilson were also on the scoresheet.
There was another Golden Girls derby as the Under-15 Hornets and Harts met in the league.
Hornets took an early 3-0 lead through Charlotte Bailey.
Ciara Purdue and Rebecca Lovelace before Harts responded via Ella Mercer.
But the Hornets hit back with Purdue and Lovelace adding to their tallies to complete a 5-1 win.
The Under-12 Harts lost 1-0 at Bishops Stortford, but the Under-13s Harts won 6-0 in a League Cup match at Bedwell Rangers Diamonds.
