Watford could be boosted by the return of Daryl Janmaat for Saturday's game against Everton.

The Dutch international missed last weekend’s 3-1 defeat at West Brom after a clash of heads with Adrian Mariappa in training prior to the game.

Janmaat suffered a deep cut to his face and was ruled out of the Baggies game.

But the summer signing has been back in training at London Colney this week and is likely to be involved in the squad for the 12.30pm kick-off against the Toffees.

He has been training with a mask and will need to wear protective head gear in the short-term.

But Younes Kaboul remains a doubt for Walter Mazzarri’s side after making slower progress from his muscle injury which also forced him to miss out on the trip to the Hawthorns.

Watford will be able to recall both Valon Behrami and Miguel Britos after they served their one-match suspensions.

But the Hornets will be without Roberto Pereyra after he was sent off against the Baggies.

Pereyra’s automatic three-match ban for violent conduct following his dismissal has been reduced on appeal.

The Argentine was sent off in the final minutes of the defeat but will now only miss this weekend’s game.

Everton will be without winger Yannick Bolasie after he underwent knee surgery this week.

Ronald Koeman’s side come into the game with just one win in their last ten games.
