Watford will be without influential attacker Nordin Amrabat next month after he was named in the provisional Morocco squad for the Africa Cup of Nations.

The 29-year-old has been one of the club's most consistent performers this season but could be missing for up to six weeks depending on Morocco's progress in Gabon.

Watford are also likely to be without Adlene Guedioura for the tournament which starts in the middle of next month and these two absentees could force Walter Mazzarri's hand in the January transfer window.
