Walter Mazzarri is unlikely to start Jerome Sinclair or Brandon Mason against Middlesbrough despite their impressive contributions for Watford last weekend.
Mason set up the opener against Burton on his first start while Sinclair claimed his first goal for the club with a memorable individual effort.
But head coach Mazzarri insists it is worth remembering their opponents were from the Championship and says it important to know when to include younger players.
Mazzarri said: “They both played very well. Brandon Mason I created him in this role on his debut and decided to put him where he is now.
"You also have to think when is the right moment to put them in. But they won’t bring me any headache because other players have shown me they managed to play very well against more difficult teams.
“We have to remember we played very well but it was not the Premier League and need to consider who we were playing against and their level was not Premier League level.
"Of course this is something to consider who you play against and as well when I put youngsters on the pitch."
