Sun Sports recorded a 4-2 win over Broxbourne Borough on Tuesday night in a Spartan South Midlands Premier Division fixture after their FA Vase defeat.

Kyle Johnson bagged a brace and one a piece from Andy Brennan and Scotty Bonner completed the scoresheet.

Their match against league leaders London Colney was postponed at the weekend due to a frozen pitch.

Oxhey Jets Wednesday night mid-week game against Berkhamsted was also called off due to the weather.

But it was a better result for them at home on Saturday as they drew 3-3 with Cockfosters.

The visitors came into the match unbeaten in their last 10 outings.

But it was the Jets who started the better of the two and opened the scoring through Luke Wells in the 21st minute.

However, it was not long before Fosters found the equaliser on the half an hour mark.

But the levelled scores were then short lived as Wells latched onto a through ball from Jake Kissiedu to calmly slot the ball home two minutes later.

In an end to end game, the visitors pulled level once again just before half-time when a free-kick was converted by Ben Hart from the edge of the box.

The hosts laziness in midfield almost cost them when Cockfosters thought they scored the winner in added time.

Once again Wells stepped up to bag his hat-trick and a point for his side.

Berkhamsted had a tough week after they parted ways with manager Tony Garratt and his assistant Mark Swales following their 1-0 defeat to Hadley.

In the match The Comrades dominated for the majority of the first half but failed to capitalise on their chances.

The only goal of the game came from Nick Chrysanthou.

Tring Athletic crashed out of the Challenge Trophy losing 4-1 to Edgware Town.

Kieran Turner was the only scorer for the club.

It was better news for the club at the weekend when they progressed to the second round of the League Challenge Trophy following a 4-1 defeat of Aston Clinton.

Former Aston player Chris Stapleton opened the scoring before Turner added their second.

Athletic went into the break 3-0 up when Sam Joliffe scored from the penalty spot.

Stapleton scored his second in the 81st minute before Neil Roberts pulled one back for Aston six minutes from time.

And Leverstock Green suffered heartache in the Herts Senior Cup quarter-final when two late goals from Cheshunt saw them lose 4-2.

Goals from Green’s Jack Watts and Lewis Bowers were cancelled out by a Jason Hallett hat-trick and one from Jamie Smyth.
