Watford midfielder Adlene Guedioura is set to return to the club after Algeria were eliminated from the Africa Cup of Nations.
Guedioura played the whole of Algeria's 2-2 draw against Senegal last night in Gabon.
Leicester City striker Islam Slimani twice gave them the lead but goals from Papakouly Diop and Moussa Sow earned a point for Senegal.
It brought a disappointing campaign to an end for Algeria after finishing third in their group with two points from three games.
Algeria were one of the favourites for the tournament but failed to win a match and it has resulted in coach George Leekens resigning.
Guedioura is expected to rejoin Walter Mazzarri's squad before the end of the month with the side's next game at Millwall in the FA Cup on Sunday.
The midfielder was the only player from Watford involved in the Africa Cup of Nations after Nordin Amrabat's ankle injury prevented him from playing for Morocco.
