Tabard came up against a highly competent HAC side and lost 59-13 away from home in London Two North West.

The visitors were not helped by their injury count from last weekend which resulted in both a reshuffled pack and back-line.

HAC got the scoring underway within four minutes when they kicked for the corner after Tabard had handed back possession and were suitably punished.

The HAC number nine peeled away from the ensuing maul for an easy score.

But it was Tabard who scored next with a well taken penalty by scrum half Harry Gough.

HAC responded with a kick deep into Tabard territory and profited from the line-out and scored under the posts. With the conversion successful, it moved the score to 14-3 after 17 minutes.

Gough scored his second penalty of the afternoon before the hosts scored another try.

Tabard did manage to build a good attack following a penalty and a deft pass out to Aled Davis allowed him to score.

This took the score to 21-13 with five minutes to go but Tabard could not find a way to close out the half.

Two further tries from HAC took the half-time score to 33-13.

The away side were unable to add to their scoreline despite some promising attacks in the final 40.

HAC were able to clock up a further four tries as they dominated the half before the referee brought matters to a conclusion at 59-13.
