Etienne Capoue is a doubt for Watford's trip to Crystal Palace on Saturday after coming down with a fever this week.

The Frenchman has started all 27 of the Hornets' Premier League games, a feat only matched by Heurelho Gomes in light of the club's severe injury problems earlier in the season.

Walter Mazzarri has no other new concerns ahead of the game at Selhurst Park, with Nordin Amrabat and Daryl Janmaat both fit to start if called upon.

"Etienne Capoue has had a fever for the past few days and hasn’t been training," the head coach said. "We will be checking on him tomorrow.

"Christian Kabasele, Ben Watson, Roberto Pereyra and Mauro Zarate are our other injuries and if nothing else happens tonight, we should have all the rest of the players available."
