Kings Langley will kick off the new Evo-Stik League South Premier season at home to a club that was born from the ashes of a former Football League side.

Following the demise of Hereford United at the end of 2014, Hereford were formed and they were promoted to the top flight after a stunning South & West campaign last season, losing only one game en route to winning the league by an 18-point margin on 107 points.

After that eye-catching opener at Gaywood Park on Saturday, August 12, Paul Hobbs’ men face a Herts-Beds derby three days later at Dunstable Town.

The August Bank Holiday sees Kings, who defied the odds to secure safety last season, entertain Kettering Town on the Saturday before a Herts-Bucks derby two days later at Chesham United.

The following month sees a home game against another promoted club, Farnborough, on September 9 three days before making the visit to a Bishops Stortford side who were in National League South in 2016/17.

Kings are due to start the festive period with a trip to St Neots Town on Saturday, December 23, Chesham visit Gaywood Park on Boxing Day before a New Year’s Day Herts derby trip to Hitchin Town.

The Hitchin return fixture is scheduled to played on Monday, April 2, two days after an Easter Saturday game at Farnborough, and the regular season ends on Saturday, April 28 with an awayday at Basingstoke Town.
