Lee Mason will once again take charge of a Watford game against Swansea City this weekend.

The Lancashire official has been selected to officiate the Hornets’ trip to the Liberty Stadium on Saturday, having also been the man in the middle for Watford's 1-0 home win over the Swans in April when an Etienne Capoue goal gave Walter Mazzarri what was to be his final win, and points, as head coach at Vicarage Road.

Mason has officiated four matches so far this season, three in the Premier League, and shown six yellow cards and one red, sending off Marko Arnautovic in West Ham United’s 3-2 defeat at Southampton last month.

The referee also sent off a Hornets player in the last Watford match he took charge of, dismissing Sebastian Prodl in the closing stages of their 4-3 defeat at Chelsea at the end of last season.

Prior to the Swansea victory last season, Mason was also in charge of Watford’s 2-2 draw at Bournemouth and the 2-0 FA Cup win over Burton Albion.
