Swedish goalkeeper Pontus Dahlberg is at London Colney today to finalise discussions over a £3 million move for the youngster, the Watford Observer understands.

Dahlberg has been touted around several clubs in the Premier League, including Arsenal and Spurs, but the Hornets have been linked with his signature for several weeks.

The 18-year-old played 29 times for IFK Gothenburg in the Swedish top-flight during 2017, and is considered one of the brightest goalkeeping talents around with Napoli also chasing his signature.

But now the Hornets have lured their target to Hertfordshire to talk terms, they are in pole position to secure his signature ahead of the January transfer window next month.
