Kiko Femenia is to miss Watford's game with Huddersfield Town tomorrow after his comeback from injury was halted by a flare-up.

The Spaniard made the bench at Crystal Palace on Tuesday night, having missed out altogether at Burnley on Saturday.

But the first-team regular has suffered a set-back since then, meaning he will not be included in what is looking a thread-bare 18 for Huddersfield's visit to Vicarage Road.

Such is the lack of numbers Marco Silva has to pick from, both Stefano Okaka and Jerome Sinclair have been included in their provisional 19-man squad to face the Terriers.

Silva said: "Richarlison is ok to play tomorrow. Of course, in the moment with a lot of games in a row, fatigue is normal, but he has none.

"Kiko Femenia is out for tomorrow, and the others continue in the same situation.

"It’s true that it’s tough, if I can remember after the Newcastle game, we’ve played four games since and we’ve changed five or six players in three or four weeks; something like that can happen though.

"I’m here to find the solutions for the team, and of course the best scenario is to have everyone fit. If you have everyone fit, you are a stronger team. That’s not how it is, but it’s my job to find the best solutions."
