Watford are among four clubs interested in signing Chelsea’s Charly Musonda on loan, reports claim.
Chelsea are willing to listen to loan offers for the 21-year-old, which put Watford, Bournemouth, Newcastle United and West Brom on alert.
The Telegraph reports that Musonda, who can play as either a central midfielder or winger, has been told he can go out on loan after Chelsea secured the £15 million signing of Ross Barkley from Everton.
Musonda has made six senior appearances this term and found the net as the Stamford Bridge club beat Nottingham Forest 5-1 in the EFL Cup in September.
He was on form for the Blues’ Under-21 outfit on Tuesday as he scored both of his side’s goals in a 2-1 win over Portsmouth.
Watford are in need of wide options, with Richarlison and Andre Carrillo having to play week in week out due to a lack of cover on the wings.
Marco Silva has previously stressed the need for reinforcements in the positions and Musonda would appear to fit the bill.
